Condition: Rank B vintage condition with visible signs of age and previous use throughout. The exterior beadwork and leather show general wear, with dirt visible on the front beaded area, around the leather near the magnetic closure, and along the edge of the flap. Some beads are missing in several areas, including the sides. The back shows rubbing and other general signs of use, while the bottom also shows light wear. The front FF logo and surrounding leather have rubbing and small scratches. Inside, the leather beneath the flap shows creasing and scratches, and the interior has general signs of use with staining inside the interior pocket. The leather shoulder strap shows scratches and rubbing, while the hardware has rubbing and small scratches. As a vintage handcrafted piece, these signs of age and wear form part of its existing condition.

The Fendi Baguette debuted in 1997 and became one of the House’s defining handbag designs. Named for the way it can be carried closely under the arm like a French baguette, its compact silhouette and distinctive FF closure provided a canvas for numerous elaborate materials and decorative techniques.

This vintage example features extensive bead embroidery in soft off-white tones contrasted by dark brown leather trim. The hand-applied decorative surface gives the bag a highly tactile, artisanal character and makes it a particularly distinctive interpretation of the original Baguette design.

Measuring approximately 25 cm wide, this piece corresponds closely to the proportions of the original 26424 Baguette family. The adjustable short leather strap is designed primarily for shoulder carry.
